We have implemented UserIDs and Passwords at Fred's Place.

Why? Fred's Place has grown to a size where 'the personal touch' is no longer possible. Members must help in maintaining their own Directory Listing(s). Previously all changes such as, name, email address, rate or rank, and unit or locations were manually performed. Now, you the member, can make any changes necessary to your Directory Listing(s).

Protecting Email Addresses. Security of your email address has always been a concern for us. Email addresses are now well protected from public viewing and hopefully from the 'harvestors' that originate internet spam mail. Only members accessing the Directory from the Member's Only Menu can 'see' the email icon next to names when viewing the New Arrivals or Email Directory lists.

Problems. Yes, we always have a few problems whenever we experience a change in doing something we've become accustomed to and comfortable with.
