said: Does anyone know where I might obtain a decent set of plans for a patrol frigate to build
an accurate model? I have been interested in this class of vessel since I was a boy. Having served
28 years in the Coast Guard I obviously became more interested when I discovered many of these ships
were manned by Coast Guard personnel. The Mariner's Museum in Newport News gave me the telepone
number of a contact for the PF Association, but all I ever got were recorded messages, and no one
ever called me back even though I asked them to do so collect!

12-15,00 you missed a fine time had by all. My ship had five new attendees. Don't know the final
count but it is about 400 total. Several ships also had their own rooms for individual ship's
dinners. The stories they told about on board and liberty makes one wonder how they can retain the
details. Teenagers and not much older at that time. Next reunion city in year 2001 will be
Charleston, S.C. For more info check the posting on 06/01/00. U.S.S.GRAND RAPIDS PF31
