Served aboard the WPB95316 1/1963-1964, New London CT., as SN, TDY 5 months at Base Miami. Saw Hugh McManus name 4 or so entries down....remember him well. Our Skipper was LtJg Jim Billingham, others remembered were Eddie Boyle, Chief Acree, Chief Campbell (soupy), Don Stoddard, Dave Denny, Troy-Lee Carroll, Sackett (cook). Can't remember the rest. As a matter of fact I just found a picture that was taken of all of us when we were about to depart Base Miami. I think the Admiral in the picture, shaking our skippers hand, was Adm. Stevens.

I was a young GM3 aboard Cape Fox from March 1967 thru September 1968. She was a great ship. CO's during that time were LTJG Gerry McGill, LTJG Bill Wyche, and ENS. E. A. Blanton. We used to pull KEYPATS, 6 day patrol down thru the Florida Keys. I never have fished as much in my life as I did then. Would like to hear from anyone else that served on the FOX.
