Eugene Foster Yelton Jr.
Eugene Foster Yelton Jr., age 63, passed away September 9, 2000. Gene was born in Aurora, Indiana on October 4, 1936 and lived in Milan, Indian-a until he joined the U. S. Coast Guard in 1956. He made his home in Murray, Utah upon his retirement from the Coast Guard in 1977 as a Chief Petty Officer after serving over 21 years on active duty. He is survived by Else Yelton, his wife of 41 years; three chil-dren; David M. Yelton (New Orleans, Louis-iana), Richard C. Yel-ton (Woodbridge, New Jersey) and Cheryl D. Tanner (Salt Lake City, Utah); his mother, Leone Yelton (Milan, Indiana); bro-ther, Danny Joe White (Indianapolis, IN) and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene F. Yelton Sr. and Jessie Mae Webster and his grandson Christopher Tanner. Cremation under the Direction of Colonial Mortuary

YNC E. F. Yelton Jr., USCG (ret) passed away September 9, 2000. He joined the Coast Guard in 1956 and retired in 1977. After retirement he made his home in Murray, Utah.
