CAPT Joe Tanguay
It is with much regret that we inform all of our friends of the passing of our father, Joe Tanguay, on Monday, November 30, 1998, at 8:20 AM. As most of you know, he has been suffering from an inoperable cancer for the past six months. A few weeks ago, he turned 64 (November 7) and had a great birthday. We had a family reunion and arranged a helicopter ride (his final flight) for him, courtesy of USCG Air Station, Mobile. His last moments were peaceful and without pain. He died in his sleep.
The Tanguay Family has asked that anyone who wishes to make a gesture in his memory, their first preference would be to mail a contribution to:
MD Anderson Cancer Center
P.O. Box 297153
Houston, TX 77297
Note: In memory of Joe Tanguay, dedicate to Lung Cancer Research.
The center will keep a listing of all contributors to forward to Evette Tanguay so that the family may thank anyone contributing.
For those who prefer to send floral arrangements, there will be two services given in memory of Joe Tanguay as shown below.
