BMC Dave Stroupe
Saw in the retiree bulletin that Dave passed away August 2003. Dave was the Boatswain's Mate in charge of the 3rd District Cable Layer when I was a TT1/TTC at ES Manasquan back in the mid 60's. A hell of a nice guy and a good Boatswain's Mate. We all enjoyed a few beers at Nealie's Long Bar in Point Pleasant. Quite a few beers. Rest in peace Dave.
