AD3 CHRIS SHAWL

Chris Shawl died the last week of September while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle near his home in Beckley, W. V. His ashes where laid to rest near a firepit Chris had built as a child in his parents backyard. His parents Dan and Millie are planning to erect a fully lit flag pole near this site in Chris' memory. Speaking with them recently they could not believe the overwelming response from the members of the U.S Coast Guard, in his fathers words it was unbelievable. All of the dontions have made it possible to erect the flag pole. Again thanks to everyone for their support and care for one of the Coast Guards finest and the fantastic support of his family. We will all miss that smile, and your friendship Chris please watch over us all.
