OS2 Amanda Lynn Rollins, USCGR

In memory of Amanda Lynn Rollins who was killed in a car accident on 17 June, 2003 in Charleston, South Carolina at the age of 25. She was taken from us in the prime of her life while on her way to work at Bi-Lo grocery in Mt. Pleasant. She was a SAR Controller at Group Charleston and going to school at the College of Charleston to become a veterinarian. She leaves behind her mother and father: Priscilla and Tony Rollins of Meadow Valley Alabama, brother: Matt Rollins of Ft. Payne Alabama, Fiance: Charlie Hinds of Jamestown South Carolina and numerous other family members. Amanda was laid to rest in Meadow Valley, Alabama on 20 June, 2003, where she had grown up. Amanda (aka Quacker) had a deep love of nature and of the outdoors, she enjoyed hunting, fishing and diving. She had special place in her heart for her 2 labs Sandy and Smokey. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Fair winds and following seas always. In love of my baby's memory.
