Stanley Renneker
I announce with regret the passing over the bar of Lcdr Stanley Renneker,
USCGR, Ret., on Jan. 22, 1998, after a five month battle with cancer.
Stanley was a graduate of the Coast Guard Academy class of 1969. During
his time on active duty, he served a tour of duty in Vietnam and returned
to obtain a graduate degree in engineering from MIT. He was a certified
diver for the coast Guard and served at MSO and MMT in the New Orleans
area. Stanley obtained his law degree from Tulane University, while
atending night school. Stanley resigned from active duty as a Lcdr,
to practice law full time. He remained in the Coast Guard Reserve
until he retired in 1997, after serving 21 years. ***The following

Stanley L. Renneker died thursday afternoon. Mr. Renneker, a noted
insurance defense lawyer, was the founder and prinicpal of
Renneker/Associates, APLC, in Houston. He practiced law in
Louisiana and Texas. Mr. Renneker was born in Hamilton, Ohio.
He is survived by his sons, Karl (student at the University of Boston),
Max and Zach Renneker and his wife, Deborah Reynolds Renneker. Mr.
Renneker was a devoted husband, wonderful father and friend to many
and will be missed by all. I will be happy to forward any messages
anyone may have for his family.
