Edward J. Recely

1942-2002 Recely, Edward J., retired U.S. Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer, died suddenly July 3, 2002 in Perdido Beach, Florida. He was born on December 5, 1942 in New Orleans, La. to Frank and Mary Recely. Born into a Coast Guard family, Ed shared his father's concept of service to country, family, and community. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for thirty years, and was a Vietnam veteran. His warm and cheerful spirit will remain with his family and friends He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (Peggy); daughters, Samantha, Teresa, Jennifer; son, Shannon; eight grandchildren; sisters Mary and Louise; and brother F.J. Recely. A service to celebrate his life will be held on July 13, 2002 at N.A.S. Pensacola Chapel. Call 850-452-2341 for time.
