BM1 Larry Raines
For those of you who did not know BM1 Larry Raines (retired only 2 years ) passed away awhile back from a heart attack. If you new Larry you new he was a stand up guy, He would do anything for you. He was a great man to work with
and to have a beer after work with, He will be deeply missed. Larry left behing a wonderful wife and two wonderful daughters. He was to young to leave us (40's), Im proud to say he was my friend.

I just found this website and wanted to announce a Obituary.
Larry Mike Raines (DOB 02/13/53) - Petty Officer 1 passed away February 04, 2001 at 47 years old. He has served in the Coast Guard since 1970 in Chattanooga TN (1970 - 1976), Louisville KY (1981 - 1986), New Orleans LA (1986 - 1989), Kodiak AK (1989 - 1992), Louisville KY (1992 - 1995), Keokuk IA (1995 - 1997). then retired to his hometown of Cleveland TN in 1997 with his wife, Rosemary and two daughters, Angie and Yancy.
He was outgoing, lived life to the fullest and was very muched loved by everybody.. He (we) has made many friends along the way and I thought anybody that knew him would like to know.
