John T. Quinn

John T. Quinn, 81, of St. Claire Shores, Mich., formerly of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Saturday, March 13, at home. He was a systems engineer and instructor for the U.S. Army Signal School at Fort Monmouth, retiring from active duty in 1965 and from civil service in 1978. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, Naval Reserve and the U.S. Army. He was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia Fender Quinn, in 1979; and his siblings, Grace, Peggy and George. Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Marge Reha Quinn; two sisters, Pat Renaud of Michigan, and Sheila Klenk of Rhode Island; his children, Susan McCabe of Dayton, Ohio, Sally Oldani and Colleen Quinn of Red Bank, and John T. Quinn Jr. of Rumson; his stepchildren, Sharon Grzelak and Judy Mills of Houston, Texas, and Larry Galbo of East Point, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held for family members.
