ENC Stanley W. Pridham
ENC Stanley W. Pridham USCG, Ret. Crossed the Bar 9/23/98, his service
began in 1933 US Lifesaving Service, he served in WWII in ETO on two
LSTs, and post war on various CG Cutters including Boston and Relief
LtShips and Eldred Rock L/Sta., he retired in 1955 while assigned to
CGC 83487,he was always proud of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Stanley M. Pridham enlisted in the Coast Guard on Oct 25 1949. He served aboard the CGC Barataria (WHEC 381), CGC Yankton (WYTM 72), CGC 83487, CGC Acushinet (WMEC 167), LISTA Makapoo Point - Honolulu, HI, CGC Madagorda (WHEC 373), Reserve Station Keeper- Portsmouth, NH, CGC Castle Rock (WHEC 383), CGC Active (WMEC 618), Commanding Officer, Boston Lightship (WLV 539), Commanding Officer, Sta Portsmouth Harbor, New Castle, NH. Stanley retired on 01 May 1974, after 24 years of service, as Chief Warrant Officer 3 (Bosn). He crossed the bar on 24 Nov 2002, aged 70. He is survived by his wife Gloria, children Christina, Jon (USCG discharged), Carol Anne, Timothy (USCG active), grand children, and great grand children. He was a member of Warrant Officer/Chief Warrant Officer Association, TROA, and the Portland Maine Cuttermans Association.
