CDR John Naegle

I just received a call from classmate Hank Landau informing me of the passing of our classmate (CGA '64) John Naegle after a one year battle with brain cancer. A memorial service will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Issaquah, WA at 1400 on Friday 8 January 1999. I remember that John was the only one in our class to get the solution to an electronic engineering problem, so he used a grease pencil and wrote the solution on one of the large mirrors in the barracks. That way we could get the answer without having him tell us about the solution one by one. How ironic that this brightest of people would pass away in this manner. Our sympathies go out to Jill and his family.
