QM2 Larry Murrish
PO Larry Murrish passed away on Saturday morning, July 4th, in a
car accident while on vacation in North Carolina. Larry was a Plank
Owner of Fred's Place and a friend of Fred. Larry will be greatly
missed at Reserve Unit Port Canaveral. A Memorial service is
schedule for Saturday, July 11th followed by bury at sea sometime
the same weekend. Larry's father requested that his ashes be
spread at sea off of the back of one of the Station's 41 footer.
As a friend and a fellow coastie, Larry was one of the best. His
love for the sea and for the guard was enormous. Keep his family
and friends in your thoughts over the next couple of weeks.

Larry D. Murrish Jr.
Larry passed away 4 July 98 in Brevard NC in a car accident in the
mountains. This was his favorite place to be besides the ocean. Visit
