Laurence J. 'Brother' Murphy Jr.
In Woburn, Sunday, October 24th. Beloved husband of Minnie Pearl (Walker) Murphy. Devoted father of
Laurence J. Murphy III and his wife Molly of Leicester, Laurel Johnson and her husband Eric of
Stoneham and Lisa Olson and her husband Al of Woburn. Dear brother of Helen R. McLaughlin of N.
Concord, Elizabeth J. Brown of N. Reading, Bernadette C. Donovan of NH, James M. Murphy of Woburn
and the late Mary E. Doherty and Anne T. Flaherty. Loving grandfather of Laurence J. IV and Emily
Murphy, Anthony and Lindsay DiMarzo and Matthew and Rachel Olson, along with many cherished nieces,
nephews and cousins. A Funeral will be celebrated from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home,
263 Main Street, WOBURN on Wednesday, October 27th at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St.
Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Calling hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
Interment Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Donations may be made in Brothers memory to The Foundation for
Melanoma Research, 3601 Spruce Street, Room 489, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Retired Captain United
