LT Dirk Timmy Menzel
With regret I inform you of the death, last summer of LT Dirk Timmy
Menzel, German Navy, in an aviation training accident on 24 August
1996, while flying out of Goose Bay. Timmy was the husband of my
daughter, Gwen Elizabeth. Timmy had the reputation of being the
best pilot in his TORNADO squadron although being one of the youngest.
He is missed!
