Charles Melling CS3
I would like to announce the passing of my very good friend and shipmate.
Charlie passed away July 1997 after a bout with cancer.He is survived by
his wife Patti. Charlie served from 1958-1962 onlifeboat stations and
cutters in the great lakes area. I met Charlie when we were in the 4th
grade almost 50 yrs ago, and started our time in the Coast Guard
together. He is truly missed. May he rest in peace.
