JACK McCORMACK, USCG
Lcdr Jack McCormack (Jack Mac) crossed the bar 25 February
1999 at his home in Kennebunk,Me. He is survived by his
wife , Louise, and sons, John and Michael.Since retiring
in '80, Jack remained very close to the Coast Guard
community and was a frequent contributor to FredsPlace
and the Pterodactyl organizations.Jack was an always
ready SAR pilot and legendary character of his era who
will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he
continue to have fair winds and following seas. Final
arrangements are pending.

There will be a Memorial Service for Jack at the Bibber
Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer street, Kennebunk, Me at 1100
tuesday, March 2. The family has requested donations in
lieu of flowers be made to The Coast Guard Mutual
Assistance Fund, Comdt GZMA, 2100 2nd st s.w., Washington
