Steven Maxwell MKC/LT USCGC Decisive
MAXWELL, Stephen E. 56, of St. Petersburg, passed away Jan. 25, 2008. Born and raised in Oceanside, NY, he moved here in 1982. He enlisted in the Coast Guard at age 18, and retired after 30 years as Lieutenant Commander. He also worked for the City of St. Petersburg, as a maintenance supervisor for two water reclamation facilities. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Denise; children, Bambi, Kimberly, Todd and Tiffany; mother, Joan; brother, James; and sister, Karen. Memorial Service will be held Monday, Jan. 28, at 5 pm, in Lutheran Church of the Cross, 4545 Chancellor Street NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33703. Many of you knew him as MKC Maxwell from the USCGC Decisive in St Petersburg, FL. He has crossed over the bar and will be missed.
