Charles F. Matthews

Charles F. Matthews, Commissaryman 1st Class (retired) died in Ocean Springs, Miss, on Jan. 18th, and was buried on Jan 22nd at the Biloxi National Cemetary with full military honors including a Coast Guard honor guard and Masonic burial. Retired after 20 years of active duty and also retired fron civil service at Keesler Air Force Base, he was an active member of Biloxi Elks Lodge #606, Magnolia Lodge #120 F.& A.M. and was a Knights Templar. Survivors include daughter Alice Matthews Taylor and son Charles Matthews, both of Biloxi, Miss.
