Walter L. (Marty) Martin

Marty was taken by cancer on Sunday, May 21, 2000. Beloved husband of Hilda Martin. Father of Cheryl, Randy, Keith, Russell and Debra and the late Kelly Martin Eichler. Marty retired from the Coast Guard as Lcdr. Started and had his own business in Laplace, La. He will be missed by all. He always had a quick comment or joke to tell. I will miss dropping by for short visits while passing through LaPlace. We often talked about the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Interment was in Genoa Cemetery, Genoa, NE.
