QM1 Paul Liddick

This is late - but - it's never too late to remember - I was reminded the other day of the passing of a very close friend Paul Liddick retired from the the Group at Miami Beach in the late 80's - it was after I was sent to GovIs - so it must have been in late 88 or 89 - he was driving home to St. Petersburg (where he had commuted to and from for years) and was killed on the road - For those that knew Paul - he was kind and a mentor - and a very skilled cartoonest - he made the long nights on watch more bearable for all - I did not see any notes here about Paul - and I wanted him to be among his peers - He loved the Guard - and we who knew him - miss him - I haven't spoken with his wife for years - but I hope she see this someday - is reminded of how much we all cared. - Some where in cartoon heaven - Paul is king - Thanks, Paul, you artwork lives to this day, hanging on my wall at home - and in so many other places to remind me of the time at BMB - Semper Paratus - Ferg...
