RMC Frank Klemm

It is with great sorrow that I report the passing of my brother, RMC Frank Klemm. Frank was a loving husband to his wife Laura and a devoted father to his sons Justin and Jonas. Justin is a former Major League Baseball umpire. Jonas is a BM1 (third generation Coast Guard) stationed in Boston, MA. Chief Klemm logged off his final watch at 2100 on May 4, 2006 in Wimington, NC. Frank's death adds another casualty to the Vietnam War. As an 18 year old Marine Lance Corporal, serving in Vietnam, Frank was exposed to Agent Orange. In 2003 the Veterans Adminstration rated Frank 100 percent disabled and classified him as service connected due to exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.
