EMTC Samual Kale
Sam Kale of Morehead City, NC went to that great place in the heavens were
all pole climbers go that deserve the honor. Sam passed away on July 28.
He was a great friend and we will miss him at the TT reunions he started 10
years ago. We will pay tribute to Sam at our reunion this month in Va. Beach
along with other Telephone Technicians that have crossed the bar. Sam was a
legend in the telephone rate and spent most of his career in NC. His stories
will never be beat. As the Coast Guard Telephone family reunite in a couple of
weeks, it just won't be the same without Sam, but we will tip a pole,
make a splice, and ring a phone in his honor.
