Jake - USCG Station St. Clair Shores Mascot

Jake, a black lab, was the faithful mascot at St. Clair Shores from 1991-1997. In 1997, he officially retired from active duty to become the commander in chief of the Aarsvold household. He led a very pampered life until the very end. He loved everyone he came in contact with. He crossed over the Bar on October 7, 2002. He will be greatly missed. We know that he is once again chasing fenders and swimming in the lake.

Masterchief Jake (Sta. Milford Haven mascot)

After many faithful years of service as mascot of CG Station Milford Haven, Masterchief Jake passed away on 26 December 2002, as a result of injuries received when he was hit by a passing truck. Jake will be sorely missed by all, from every member of the CG Station Milford Haven team to every truck driver who avoided Jake's vicious tire attacks.
