Thomas Irwin, YNCS Ret.

Tom Irwin lost his third battle with cancer in December, 1999. Tom was retired from the Coast Guard, and served from approximately 1952 to 1975. He had served a tour aboard the CGC Dallas off the shores of Vietnam during the war, Third District Governors Island, and Activities Europe. He passed away quietly at the VA in New York City. Tom will be remembered for his quick wit, and the best stories ever. He could make you laugh on your worst days. His friends truly miss him.
