It has been so long, old friend...but I have not forgotten.
You remain in my daily thoughts and I often think of the family, left behind, that you loved so
dearly.I do not think time will ever erase losing you in our lives. I keep small things you left
behind. The coffee cup you left from the last time you visited, scorecards from our numerous game
nights and most importantly, the beautiful table you refinished for me just before you left. It is
as gorgeous today as it was 5 years ago.God bless you and keep your as close to his heart and you
are to ours.Forever,Dani, Charlie and Family.

When I 'accidentally' found this web site, I was pleasantly relieved to know that more than family really feel the loss that we do. I must say it has been more than 4 years since his passing, and it still is not real. A man to be taken so soon is always tragic, but a man of Keith's dimeanor is even more heartbreaking. As a child, Keith was energetic, funny, and very compassionate. Yes, he was a momma's boy and still is. He was the 'baby' of the family. Keith and I shared many, many exciting times together as children. However, when he decided to make the m ilitary his life, we were separated by his travelling. Thankfully, we were so very close as children and those memories are cherrished. Keith grew into an intelligent man relentless in his determination to better himself always. He believed in the power of one's self and he never stopped teaching himself. He was a terrific father, sibbling, son, and Chief. We all know that Keith took his work very seriously and compassionately. He cared about what he was doing and the others who shared in these endeavors. When Keith had to retire, I know it was the worst day of his life. He couldn't imagine a life outside of the Coastguard. But, even with this loss, he still marched on to better himself. When he passed, he was studying to become a master electrician, and was well on his way to achieving that in the short amount of time he had spent studying. I know he would have excelled in that as he did in everything. Keith is, without a doubt, a person who is to be cherrished. I am so lucky to have the memories of childhood and adulthood. He has blessed the lives of so many, and gave everything he had to what he was doing. His heroism in Dutch Harbor was a point in my life, that I really understood what he was all about. I am so proud to call him little brother. Missing you madly Keith. I love you always. Sheila

There is not a day that goes by that we haven't thought about you. Life was being unkind by taking you away from so many people who loved you. I hope that you rest easy, wherever your journey has taken you. Soon enough we will be closer to your family so that I can watch over them the way that you once did.
You were the epitomy of a Coast Guardsman and knew the true meaning of what it is to be a CHIEF. Things aren't the same without ya, Boats.
You are so deeply missed and loved.
