QM1(Honorary Chief) Lawrence M. Hennessy
I am regrettably passing the word that QM1(Honorary Chief) Lawrence M.
Hennessy, USCG (ret) crossed the bar 01 Oct 97, of Cancer. He served
onboard the CGC Bluebell, CGC White Holly, CGC Dependable, and GRP New
Orleans OPCEN. Larry died as he had lived, well and with a quiet dignity
(sometimes loud), that will be long remembered. You will be sorely missed,
my Irish shipmate !
