From the Idlers' logbook: On Monday, 22-Jun-98 11:20:46 EDT, Dr. Robert
Newton wrote: It is with deep sadness that I announce the death of John
Hefferman. John passed away last Friday night after a long illness. As
many of you know, he directed the Idlers during the early 60's. I am
thankful that he had the opportunity to direct and be a part of the
Idlers 40th reunion last April.
