It is with a deep regret that I announce the passing of my father. Retired BMC Howard W Harris.
My father went out across the bar for the last time on Oct. 1'st at 06:30 with my mother at his side. He was buried in Southport North Carolina on
Oct. 5'th with a Coast Guard honor guard. Rest easy chief, father, for you are now truely home.
I love you, miss you, and am proud to have served in a Coast Guard you loved so well.
