Senior Chief James R.
Gordy (Ret. USCG) A native of Takoma Park, Maryland and resident of Mobile, Alabama since 1974,
died on Friday, August 6, 2004 at the family residence. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth,
sons Woody and Jacob and daughter Jessica. Funeral services were held Monday, August 9, 2004 with
burial in Barrancus National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida.
