Gordan A. Brown BM1

To all ye shipmates and sailors everywhere! Let it be known that G. A. Brown BM1 passed over the bar on 10-06-06 in Everett WA. He served in the Coast Guard from 1958 to 1968 in the following vessels; CGC Taney, CGC Avoyel, CGC Dexter, CGC Taney and the CGC Gresham 'Viet Nam Tour'. He sailed for Standard Oil for a short time and then moved to sailing tugboats out of Seattle WA retiring around 2003! He was my brother, my brother in-law, a friend and an outstanding shipmate who will be missed by many. Please, if you can, send your support to Pam Brown, 703 Veracene Way, SW, Everett, WA 98203. There will be a celebration of Life on 10-17-06 at Everetts American Legion Hall 145 Alverson Blvd! The Coast Guard Honor Guard will be there. Underway is the Only Way Jim Gibler
