Judy Frost
I guess 'this time' she couldn't be away from her sailor!!! On Aug 26, 1998 CWO Lenny 'Leo' Frost crossed the bar. This day, Jan 7, 1999, his wife of many many years, again, Judy finally went to her sailor's side to be with him forever at heaven's land station. Aunt Judy deserves to be posted here. Aunt Judy completed her duty assignments as 'CG Wife' and was highly recognized as one of the best of over 20 years!!! Michigan, Cape Cod, Honolulu & Cali were amongst the places she made 'homes'. She met many, and did her sailor proud by being there to raise the children, hosting the parties, moving alone, tacking the anchors and then the bars! An exceptional woman, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, mentor, and aunt, Judy Frost was! Judy leaves her mother, Marie Talapa, and her three wonderful grown children Linda, Michael and Eric with both of their legacies. Aunt Judy deserves a full salute and taps!!!! Aunt Judy 'should' have a flag on her casket as she has done her time just as we have! Wish I could be there, Linda, Mike & Eric!! My thoughts are with you! We played together when we were young, and now we mourn together in spirit as old. Today's ocean spray will be your tears. Let the wind blow. No more retirement pay, no more sea stories to hear, no more remember when's, just their memory.
