Gerald W. (Bud) Fisher
This is an obituary which appeared in the Fredericksburg VA Free Lance Star January 6th. Although I did not know this retired Chief, perhaps a member of Fredsplace did.
Gerald W. (Bud) Fisher age 84, formerly of Fredericksburg, VA died Dec 7th 1998 at the Veterans Affairs Center, Roanoke VA. Born in Grand Haven, MI he retired as a Chief Petty Officer from the Coast Guard having served at various ships in the Great Lakes and in the South Pacific during World War II. A graveside service was held Dec 18th in South Haven Michigan.
