Herbert Parson Donzelli

Herbert Parson Donzelli, 75, passed away April 8, 2007, beloved husband of Mary, nee Smith, and the late Mary Anne, nee Belz; dear father to Thomas and William; older brother of Deanna Norman and Thomas Donzelli; and proud uncle to several nieces and nephews. Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Navy and Coast Guard. Herb was a longtime employee of the University of Illinois as an electrician. He was known on the job as �the professor� because he was always reading a new book. Herb was known to have more books in his personal library than one person could read in a lifetime. Member of Mensa and world traveler. Will be missed by family, friends and personal care giver, Melo. Visitation Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass 10 a.m., at St. Paul of the Cross, Northwest Highway and Washington Street, Park Ridge, IL. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
