BMC David D. Donnelly USCGR

Chief David Donnelly was born in Long Island, NY on 25 December 1947. He passed over the bar on 9 March 2000. Chief Donnelly was at work (LeSabre -a subsidiary of American Airlines) when he suffered a fatal heart attack about 1700. Chief Donnelly spent 4 years on active duty and 30 years as a reservist in the Dallas, Texas area. He augmented MSO Houston, Group Galveston and most recently Coast Guard Station Sabine Pass, Texas. Services were held in Grapevine, Texas today, 13 March 2000. His Commanding Officer, CWO 4 John Scott performed the eulogy, saying that Chief Donnelly will be sorely missed, he mentored yound active duty as well as young reservists at STA Sabine Pass. Chief Donnelly is survived by his wife, Gloria, son Steven, two brothers, a sister, aunts, uncles and a host of friends. We miss you Dave.
