Captain John E. Day (USCG-RET)
Captain John E. Day, who skippered the USCGC Escanaba II (WPG/WHEC-64)
twice, once during the 1950's and again from 1960-64, has crossed the
bar. He was a true leader and shall be missed by those of us who served
