ADC Frank Darling (Ret)
ADC Frank Darling USCG (Ret) passed away at 4:00 this
afternoon. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer the
first of February, so his suffering was very limited.
The funeral will be held in Elizabeth City
on Friday. Frank was not only a great aviation mechanic,
he was a leader. He was respected by officers and enlisted
alike. He was an example to follow, and people like Frank
make the service a worthwhile career. Farewell from a
fellow airman.
