Robert Bubeck
Robert J. Bubeck, 60, of Friedensburg, died Saturday at home.
Born in Cressona, May 13, 1944, he was a son of the late Robert and Miriam Long Bubeck. He was a
Coast Guard veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a mixer for Omnova Solutions Inc., Auburn. He
was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Friendensburg, and Stanley Dengler
American Legion Post 286, Cressona, and a life member of the National Rifle Association. He was
preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittnay Scholl, in 1990; a sister, Nancy Werner, in 2004.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, the former Carol L. Stump; a stepson, Terry L. Scholl,
Friedensburg; a daughter, Crystal M. Bubeck, Cressona; a sister, Judy Bubeck, Cressona; three
grandchildren. Services are private at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Paul E. Buzzard
will officiate. The family requests donations to Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA
17901. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc.,
Cressona, is in charge of arrangements.
