Archie Brookshire, LCDR USCG Retired
Archie Brookshire, LCDR, USCG Retired passed away May 19, 2001 at Three Rivers Community Hospital, Grants Pass, Oregon. Mr. Brookshire entered the USCG in 1947 in Long Beach, Calif. He
retired in 1970 and then went to work for the Alaska Ferry System, where he was a chief engineer. He retired in 1990 and moved to Grants Pass Oregon. Archie was a member of BSP/Alaska Vets, the Elks
Lodge, Masonic Lodge and the American Legion.
