George J. Bott, III, USCG, Retired
In August of 1997 Geo Bott passed away after a lifetime of service to his
country. We served together in good times and bad, through danger and
routine. His passing came unexpectedly, as I suppose they always do,
yet those who knew him will always remember his generosity, wit and
compassion.
