Richard Lee Benson, BOSN4 (Retired)

Just heard from Mr. Benson's daughter Michelle that he passed away on the 26th of August, 2008, in Phoenix, AZ. He had been seriously ill for the last couple of months. His wife and family were by his side. He will be cremated and his wife will bring his ashes to Thailand, a country he came to love over the last few years. For those of us who were card carrying members of 'Bensons Bastards' in Sault Ste Marie, MI, it's truly a sad day.
