L. L. Bennett (Benny)

Benny served in the USCG from April 1937 through September 1945. During this time he started on a Cutter, from there he served on a Lifeboat Station and was a Lighthouse Keeper on Smith Island during WWII.He had many fond memories of his adventures each unit bestowed upon him and we enjoyed hearing each one of them. He was married for 58 years.May your stories be remembered and past on to generations to come.In Loving Memory of LL Bennett, who passed on March 5, 1998, former Coastie who lived and enjoyed life to the fullest.
