Michael Bashore

Michael Carl Bashore, 54, of Effingham Ill crossed over the bar Friday, Jan 16, 2004, of a heart attack. Mike was the son of Max and Frances Bashore. He graduated from Shelby High School in Shelby Ohio and attended Ohio State University. Mike served in Southeast Asia as a seaman in the US Coast Guard. After his discharge Mike became a mason and specialized in marble and stone. For the last several years Mike was employed as a merchant seaman on a commeercial freighter on the Great Lakes. Mike is survived by his wife Janice, his brothers and sisters and many friends.
