Lee Anne Archer
My wife and I have lived in Central Oregon since I retired from the Coast Guard. In May of this year I lost my wife, Lee Anne, who I loved very much to breast cancer. She lost her battle with cancer two years after first being diagnosed with an aggressive triple negative cancer that did not respond to multiple therapies.
I am riding for her memory and the hope that the funds that I help raise for research might preclude others from having to experience my deep loss. Participating in this ride along with my other team members is part of my healing process. I would greatly appreciate your generous donation in Lee Anne’s memory.
If you are interested in participating in the Armstrong Challenge 100 mile bicycle ride and help raise funds, I would be honored to have you join our team. The Tour Deschutes is coming up in July, which is a local ride that also supports the Armstrong Challenge. There are several programs at Saint Charles Medical Center that being supported by the Armstrong Foundation.
Today, there are more than 10 million people living with cancer in United States, and it is estimated that close to 1.3 million more will be diagnosed this year alone.
Please support me as I make a difference in the battle against cancer with my participation in the LIVESTRONG Challenge, which benefits the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
The Lance Armstrong Foundation inspires and empowers people affected by cancer. The LAF believes that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.
