while his ship was on mid-patrol break. We met again when his ship pulled into homeport, Alameda,
CA. We were married Aug 1st, 1987 on Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. right down the street from
the ship. During our 18 years of marriage, we had one son, Courtland Adair, now 14 years old.
Chris loved the sea as much as he loved his family. He was the best at parking those big white
Coast Guard boats, even in the tiniest places. Always with a big smile on his face and loving
every minute of it! 'A true American Patriot' he is now one of the Coast Guard's newest Guardian
Angels, 'Fair Winds and Following Seas' my love. 'Semper Paratus!' In lieu of flowers, please make
donations to: American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), cancers of the colon and rectum.
