Catchin' Up

Week 6

Explosions, triage, and the end of Unitas.

Three explosions and guns blazing then suddenly two helicopters drop from the sky and silence, an anti-terrorism drill in Valparaiso, Chile was successful as Chilean Special Forces dropped in from above to put an end to an uprising. A team from the CGC Mohawk performed triage during this realistic drill. Quickly deciding who could and couldn’t be saved. With machine like precision they successfully completed the drill and once again left a lasting impression on their foreign counterparts.

The final days of Unitas literally went off with a bang. Ending on August fourth the CGC Mohawk closed out Unitas successfully and still afloat. The Mohawk and her crew made numerous trips into enemy territory, at one point making it all the way to land, taunting the enemy and swiftly making it back into international waters before the enemy forces could mobilize. The eagle eyed lookouts onboard the CGC Mohawk spotted an enemy submarine which directly led to its destruction.

As time expired and Unitas came to an end the mighty Mohawk’s colors still flew proudly as she moored into Southern Chile. The heavily out gunned Mohawk held it’s own against the navies of seven countries and became an invaluable asset to its team.
