Catchin' Up

Week Two - In this past week the flexible crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk has triumphed over many challenges that might have drenched the spirits of a normal crew.

They have shown their ability to adapt and overcome any obstacle that might get thrown at them. They have shown patience while waiting there turn to enter the Panama Canal, endurance during the long over night transit of the Canal, and persistence while performing repairs on both small boats and jacket water system repairs to the main engines.

In the end the crew enjoyed a relaxing evening on the pier in Panama enjoying a few laughs and making some phone calls to friends and loved ones.

With the Mighty Mohawk now underway and all repairs completed the crew is looking forward to it's next big adventure of crossing the equator and starting Panamax and Unitas.
