Catchin' Up
Aargh! Week four started off with International Talk Like a Pirate Day! The crew jumped right back into the swing of underway life after an enjoyable port call in Willemsted, Curacao. The Law Enforcement Officer, ENS Crews, held training for boarding members to receive pepper spray training. The officers had a morale night on Saturday and cooked pizza for the crew. FS1 Swedo prepared delicious pizza dough from scratch to get the cooking started. The meal was a success and very tasty, which was indicated by crewmembers coming back for seconds and thirds of pizza.
After a week of torturous temperatures, we pulled into Cartagena, Colombia for a much needed two-day port call. Crewmembers ventured into Plaza Santo Domingo for emeralds, good food and time away with friends.
Congratulations
